Company History

LSG Engineering, Inc. is a Summit County based mechanical engineering consulting firm located in Akron, Ohio. The company commenced business in January, 1992 and is now well into the 27th year of providing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design services to the Northeast Ohio design and construction community.

We have many years of experience that demonstrate that we provide prompt, dependable service. We pride ourselves on building long-lasting relationships with owners, vendors and contractors, which have become invaluable to the success of our business. We excel at defining scopes, being thrifty with your money and communicating your scopes to contractors. Our business model is to establish long term relationships, not just chase projects. We pride ourselves on our response time and availability to our clients.

Our project experience demonstrates the firm’s comprehensive understanding of MEP systems across many project types. Our vast portfolio displays our ability to design, commission and manage/operate systems that work in complicated environments. This experience will help you avoid unexpected delays and unforeseen problems along the way as well as after occupancy.

Services provided also include preparation of mechanical construction documentation, specifications and cost estimates; bidding; energy analysis; life cycle analysis, BIM and documentation; Energy code compliance documentation and pursuit of energy incentives and rebates.
